I invited quotes from a number of shipping companies that are rated five stars on Transport Reviews - Cascade's quote was pretty competitive, so I decided to give it a try.
Called Kim on December 26 and she found a company that came to pick up my car on the evening of December 27. Kim told me the car would arrive about January 3. I was pretty happy about the arrangement because my flight out to California was on January 3 - it would be nice to have the car as soon as I arrive.
Before I flew out to California on January 3, I called Kim and asked her again for more information on delivery time (so as to decide whether I'd need to rent a car after I arrive). She called the trucking company and confirmed that the car would be delivered either the evening of January 3 or morning of the 4th.
I got my car on January 4 morning - just in time for me to drive exploring the new city.
The whole process was very smooth. Kim and the other staff at Cascade have been very friendly and responsive. Whenever I felt the need to ask a question or get an update on the status of the shipment, I'd pick up the phone and call - believe me, I called about a dozen times - and they'd always provide answers in a friendly, timely and professional manner. I am very satisfied. Will use Cascade again and will recommend it for friends for their car shipping needs.
