I was very satisfied with my experience with Cascade. I got a wide range of quotes from transport companies when planning to ship my car from Anchorage to Rhode Island XXXbetween $1000 and $3500 XXXand Cascade's quote was the second lowest (I wasn't comfortable wit the $1000 quote XXXit seemed way too low). Customer service (my contact at Cascade was Geri Hiscoe) over the phone was professional and courteous. Auto pick-up was not available in the Anchorage area (this seemed to be true for all shipping companies I talked to), so I had to drop it off at the port, but it was a simple process and Geri told me just what I had to do to prepare for shipment. I dropped the car off on December 7th, the ship sailed on December 10th, and I was given an estimated delivery date of Dec. 24th, although Geri warned me that Christmas Eve was not totally likely due to holiday traffic and the possibility of the driver taking a day off. I took the delivery estimate with a grain of salt anyway, since I've read that those dates can be pretty unreliable. The car ended up arriving on the 26th, at 1 in the morning, and while I would have preferred a daytime dropoff, it worked out fine.

In all, working with Cascade was a wonderful experience, especially considering all the nightmare stories I've heard about car transport. Geri even called me a few times during the process to make sure the dropoff at the port went okay, to confirm the delivery date, and to make sure the delivery had gone smoothly. I highly recommend Cascade Auto Shipping!
