A reservation with Cascade was made primarily based on locality although they had received excellent reviews for their service. I found Mike at Cascade to be an excellent shipping agent overall. Dealing with the guys running the trucks was a bit unnerving. Watching the on-load process left me wondering if the car's clutch would survive given high revs and lots of slipping in order to coax the car into its spot on the trailer. So far so good now that I've got the car back. On the other end the car showed up absolutely filthy. Did the car make it? Yes. However, if you've got a vehicle with an older/weaker drivetrain or want the vehicle clean on the other end after a move across the country in the winter open shipment may not be for you.
