I was generally pleased by the shipping services provided by Cascade. There were things that I was unhappy with, but these were, generally speaking, systemic problems with all car shipping companies- that is to say, all the top companies appear really to be middle-men. Your quote is used as a bid which is put up on some central board, and a driver has to accept your "bid." Thus the process is somewhat subject to the whims of whoever that driver may be, who is not necessarily directly under the employ of the company in question. Thus it's easy for communication breakdowns to occur- I was sure to tell my broker, for instance, that the car was not to be picked up before a certain date, and of course I got a phone call from the driver that he was ready to pick up my car before the appointed date. He was very reasonable and we worked it out, but that is an example of what I am talking about, but to be honest, I am not sure how this problem is different amongst any of the "top rated" companies as they all otherwise function the same, as far as I can tell. I'm a pretty laid back guy, so I must also warn future buyers that my car arrived caked in dirt. Again, not a big deal for me, but I would guess there are some people who might kick up a fuss.
