Overall, the entire process from start to finish was frustrating. At the outset (when working with Thomas) we had no idea that matching a competitor's quote would result in such a difficult time contacting truck companies who would agree to your company's quote. Approximately 20 days after agreeing to work with you and receiving an order/confirmation number, we were still waiting for an exact pick-up date. When we received our order/confirmation number, we thought we'd be paying $795, but in the end we ended up spending $1,270. Thomas did not explain things to us clearly, so we never thought there would be any complications like what we experienced. The last time we talked to Thomas was just two days before our scheduled departure (8/26)! We never heard from him again. We called again, the following day (as we were loading up our own moving truck on 8/27) and the rep we spoke to (we forget his name), said he'd call us right back with an update. He didn't, and when we called back later that same afternoon, we got an answering service saying that the office was closed until Monday. Uneasy and extremely frustrated, we had no choice but to leave our vehicle with a friend, who agreed to keep our vehicle until we received an update on our order status (the following week).

On Monday 8/29, a different rep, Malia, turned out to be our saving grace! She was clear when communicating information to us, and she was prompt in returning our calls and making us feel more at ease. Malia followed up via phone and email as promised, unlike the other reps (Thomas, etc.) who said they'd call us right back with an update on our order status and never did. If it wasn't for Malia's follow through, we would have definitely cancelled our order with Cascade (and demanded no fee). Working with Malia is the ONLY reason we are giving an overall rating of Average on the green side of your rating scale. Otherwise, we would never recommend Cascade.
