Chris and Diana,
Let me start off by saying we are sorry for the issues that arose during your transport. However, I am going to defend Malia at this point. You originally set up this transport with an employee who unfortunately left our company back in April. You dropped your vehicle off at the port in Hawaii around the 15th of May. Your vehicle sailed on a vessel that was a week earlier than you had set up for because you dropped early and never let anyone know. So as we are checking the status, we have to rearrange our carriers a week a head of schedule which causes us to lose the carrier originally assigned for your vehicle at the original quoted price. Yes from that point forward things did go down hill. Your vehicle arrived at the port and Malia did everything she could to help get this vehicle moved. We can send you the notes of all the carriers she contacted if you would like. Just because gas prices go down or economy changes, it does not change that carriers ask for certain funds. Once the pricing goes up it never goes back down even if gas goes back down. Carriers are not that stupid to shoot themselves in the foot to take less money when they know customers will pay it to move it.
We finally found you a carrier after you cussed out my employees and refused to pay storage. I do have copies of those emails still if you would like to see those. Yes at this point storage was accruing and we agreed to pay that even though is states in our terms and conditions that we are not responsible for any storage. If order to avoid further storage you had the choice to keep your vehicle at the port, or accrue storage. You chose to have the vehicle picked up.
So now we have had the vehicle picked up, its no longer accruing storage and you are still mad. They truck picked up your vehicle, took it to their main facility and loaded it onto a carrier and took off. Jesse the dispatcher for the carrier was in contact with you the entire time. Your vehicle was still delivered as scheduled from the timeline this carrier gave you. Again I am sorry that you feel you had a horrible experience. We did everything we could to help you, and explained to you every step of the way what was going on. We wish you the best.
