This was my first time shipping a car and the seller recommended Capital Auto Transport. Cat and Andy were very responsive to my many questions and always returned any messages I left, although I reached them live nearly all the time. They are both very friendly and easy to work with. They gave me a very fair price for a short, 100-mile move. Their quote was nearly half that of some other major companies. $250 vs $450. They also do not take a deposit until AFTER the job is assigned and a carrier has actually loaded the car. Once I contracted with them they kept in touch with me while seeking a carrier. That only took 24 hours. The job was assigned to Boats Away Marine Transport. I said ....what? at first. But Boats Away hauls cars up and down the East Coast to snowbirds who winter their boats in Florida. Turns out that Jerry, the owner, lives one town over from where my car came from so it was a very easy pick-up.. He was easy to reach and we had a very clear plan and time of pick up and delivery. The driver ended up being nearly an hour early. How's that for great service. Total time: I contracted with Capital Auto Transport on Thursday and had my car in my driveway by early Tuesday morning. I will definitely plan or using Capital Auto Transport again if I need to move a car. They only use carriers with very high ratings and you can trust them fully. Unlike some companies, they do not pay customers for reviews. I asked them how I could do a review because I was so pleased with their service. They came highly recommended and I am more than happy to give them a 5-Star review myself.
