I had asked for a quote directly from the Capitol website and was contacted the next day by Dakota one of the main sales people at Capitol. He was extremely pleasant to talk to and wasn't pushy in trying to get a sale. He was honest and straightforward about the transportation fee and process, that they didn't collect any payment until the car was picked up and that the quote may increase or decrease by a few dollars depending on the gas or trucking company and that they wouldn't know the exact trucking company until usually a week before the pickup date as it depends on what trucker was in the area that week. I selected Capitol over some bigger name places like Magic Carpet and Red Carpet because of Dakota's honesty and friendly service and because the quote they gave me was right in the middle (not as high as some places but also not so low it seemed unbelievable). Throughout the process, the communication was great. I received an email and phone call from Capitol detailing when the trucker would arrive (including his credentials and insurance) and the truck driver himself called 3 hours in advance of showing up. And to top it all off, my car arrived a day EARLIER than expected with the driver calling me from California when he was dropping the car off. Overall I had a wonderful experience using Capitol and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a car transported for a reasonable price with friendly professional service.
