The price was cheap and delivery was prompt once a carrier was selected. Capitol Auto Transport is a broker and not a carrier so they post your information on a national board and must wait for a carrier to respond that they will ship the vehicle for the price quoted. For my vehicle that took several weeks but I was not in a hurry and I got a cheap price. They do screen the carriers to insure the best they can that the carrier is dependable. If you need a vehicle shipped on a particular date or arrive on a particular date you need to make that clear up front. I suspect that would cost substantially more then waiting for a carrier that has a opening and going your way. Dakota was easy to deal with. He returned my calls promptly. The carrier called as Dakota said he would and pick up and delivery was without incident. The cost was as originally quoted. I paid Capitol their part by credit card and paid the carrier cash when the vehicle was picked up. Capitol did not charge my credit card until the vehicle had been picked up. I received information on the carrier before he showed up which included his phone number and insurance information. Overall things went as I hoped. I would use Capitol again and would ask for Dakota.
