I've never had such a frustrating experience with any (so-called) "professional" in my life. First, they get the job by underbidding. Next, since the price is so low, they can't get anyone to do the job. Then when the customer tries to get information, the phones don't work or they put you on hold for unreasonable lengths of time (25 minutes and counting so far), or they simply do not answer. It seems that the market of drivers available sets the price. If the broker can't get anyone to do the job, they will ask you to agree to the higher price "for an enclosed" transport or "to make sure we can meet your schedule" or similar.

Hint, do not choose the least expensive bid, or even the mid range cost. Pick the company that has access to their own fleet and can control cost and time.
