Mr. Thomas contracted with us on 2/13 to ship a vehicle that same day or the following day. His order was rushed and dispatched the same day to Y&P Express for pick up on 2/14. The carrier was faxed a load sheet was signed and accepted. On Monday customer service recieved an email from Mr. Thomas requesting to cancel his order claiming that his vehicle was never picked up. We immediately contacted the driver and he had his own version of the story as to why the vehicle was not picked up. We explained to Mr. Thomas the situation and attempted to resolve it for him. The original carrier was still in Florida and offered to go back and pick up the car. Mr. Thomas declined stating that he had contracted with a second company on 2/14 and that the vehicle had been picked up since 2/14! Every move in this industry involves several parties and there are many different things that can come up. We would have gladly resolved the matter for him had he given us the opportunity.
