The experience with Bluestar started out great. We were satisfied with the pickup and delivery dates and the agreed upon price. This was our first experience in using an auto mover and everything was going good right up to the time to accept delivery of the vehicle. In an email from Bluestar we were informed that the balance would need to be paid to the carrier by certified check, money order or cash. The day the vehicle was to be delivered I gave my driver a money order for $800.00 to pay the balance for the move. When my driver meets with the carrier driver to accept delivery of the vehicle the carrier driver asks for cash. He told my driver that he needed cash so he could purchase fuel for his trip home. My driver calls me and tells me of this problem. I call Bluestar and they advise me to tell my driver to put the carrier's driver name on the money order so he could cash it. My driver hauled the carrier driver in his truck to three different banks in Cincinnati and the banks would not cash the money order for the driver. The carrier driver would not release the vehicle until he received cash. Somehow the carrier driver convinced my driver to put the $800 balance on my drivers personal credit card. After the credit card transaction was received at the carriers office then he released the vehicle. I called Bluestar after all this happened and they advised me that the carrier has to accept our money order and release the truck. I feel that Bluestar did not live up to it's end of the contract concerning payment of the balance. If we had known that the carrier driver would have only accepted cash then we would have sent cash to pick up the vehicle. My driver ended up spending an extra hour in Cincinnati trying to pick up my vehicle. Bluestar needs to take a hard look at the carriers it uses as it is a reflection upon them. I hope I do not have to ship any more vehicles but if I do I will probably not use Bluestar again.

Upon reviewing the order and speaking with the enclosed carrier (Incognito Express), we must apologize to Mr. Kirker for the frustration his driver endured upon receiving his vehicle. Our payment policy does state that a cashiers check, money order, and cash are all acceptable payment methods. Mr. Kirker attempted to pay the driver with a money order. Unfortunately, the carrier did not feel comfortable with the money order and asked if a cash payment could be made instead. Mr. Kirkers personal driver insisted on the money order as his preferred method of payment so the carrier drove him to a local bank to attempt to cash it. Unfortunately, the bank refused to cash it. Therefore, he contacted his office and had the customer make a credit card payment instead. Again, we certainly apologize for any inconvenience that Mr Kirkers driver experienced. If we had been made aware of the situation at the time of delivery rather then after, we would have certainly facilitated Mr. Kirker's delivery as expected. His vehicle was picked up and delivered on time damage free.
