I received quotes from more than a dozen brokers to move our car from Florida to New England in January 2020. Movewheels' quote was the lowest by about 15%. I received quotes that were up to 38% higher than Movewheels. After confirming the quote and thoroughly reading the contract that Beverly with Movewheels sent me, I signed with them. I did not regret my choice.
After signing with Movewheels, I continued hearing from other brokers, some of whom suggested the quote I received was not realistic and that my car would never get shipped if I didn't change to a new broker. One said he hoped I had not signed a contract or I would be stuck. Having read the contract twice, I had no concerns.
In my particular case, price was the most important factor in choosing a shipping company. My dates were flexible. Pick-up was scheduled for a Monday afternoon. The driver backed out at the last minute because a car dealer shipping three cars on his truck delayed shipping by a week. Movewheels kept me informed and found another driver. The car shipped on Thursday and arrived on Monday.
The minor delay in shipping did not matter to me, as shipping and delivery dates were flexible for me. Movewheels did not violate the contract I had signed, they were always responsive to my questions, and the car was delivered by a friendly driver. I would definitely use Movewheels again.
