My car is picked up on Nov 27th (before Thanksgiving at an extra cost) and it's Dec 9th the car is not delivered yet, they don't bother to update you that's the worst part. When I called up the company, they said the truck was broke down and asked if they can drive up the car to the Destination (that's like 1500 miles on the car) ridiculous. Just keep in my mind fellow car owners, broker takes his deposit and contacts transport company to ship your car which means you barely know the shipping company unless you sign a contract with the broker. Once broker gets his deposit, they really don't care about the car (most companies) so forget about the driver/shipping company, they don't even know you at this point.
So my small piece of advice, always always make sure you ask them what is the policy if you don't receive your car on time? And check properly with the broker about all the terms and conditions. Look around there are thousands of companies that are reliable for the same price, so be smart and pick one after you talk to broker about everything and time delays etc. I learnt it from my experience and hope it helps.
