Not willing to work with customer needs as requested

Miss Hill quoted us a price of $974.00 which we accepted and she assured us that our vehicle would be picked up from our home in Hephzibah, GA no later than 12/12/13 And delivered to Palm Desert. I called her last week to get an update of when the driver would be here and she told me it would be Tuesday the 10th or We'd the 11th and would call us back to confirm. She knew we would be gone on the 12th. On Monday the 9th we had not heard for her we phoned her again to confirm the date and time and on heard back from her on Tuesday the 10th. She then stated that it was really difficult finding someone to commit to our order since we were not in a big city like Atlanta. She never suggested that we drive the car there for pickup but instead said she would call her manager to find a solution and would try to work something out and call us right back! She said that everyone she emailed or tried to contact about our shipment was not responding to her. We never heard from her after that. I called her today to see if she knew anymore as we are getting very anxious and nervous about our car being transported and needing it done before we leave tomorrow on the 12th. She again said she hadn't heard anything and would need to get back to us. When she finally called, she said she heard from one transporter that would take the car but that we were not going to like the price. It was now $1100.00. Way to do business!!! Needless to say I was pissed off!! I asked to speak to the manager whom she said was not available and nowhere to be found! What he has no cell number? This company is nothing more than brokerage/middleman....they could care less about you or your vehicle!!! Not to mention your needs! Then next conversation I had with Miss Hill was to tell her that if driving our vehicle to Atlanta to one of their pickup hubs would be an option then perhaps we could do that. Her response was, "why didn't you say so in the beginning?" The advertisement said door to door....why didn't she suggest that if she knew all these weeks before that there was a problem getting someone to our door!!!!!! We now are faced with trying to make last minute arrangements that are costing us money....it would be really nice if this company did the right thing by us. But if not I will never recommend them to anyone and in fact give them the worst review to all looking for a transport company and the BBB
