I called AutoZipper based on the strength of the reviews on this site. (Other companies I could have used had lower service ratings and had complaints noted about confusing information, delivery delays or payment snafus.)
I was impressed by other users' comments about the contact, Brian. Just as others wrote, he is cheerful and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to deal with him. He either answered the phone himself each time I called or returned my call promptly. To me, this was a great indication of the quality of this shipper.
We had a challenge in that the car would be picked up at my brother's house and there were few convenient times for my brother to be there. Brian arranged for the car to be picked up within 48 hours. He called my brother to ensure Autozipper was meeting my brother's needs. The car arrived on schedule, with no problems, no damage. The driver was very courteous to deal with. The only reason it took 9 days to deliver was that several other cars were to be transported on the same truck- Brian had carefully explained this sort of detail to me, in advance.
I'd like to say that when shipping a car across country one gets nervous about picking the right company. I would happily recommend AutoZipper and am happy to give them a top rating.
