It was an interesting experience both with the agent and driver. The agent quoted a very competitive price so I committed. Over that day agent kept telling me (when I had to keep calling in for confirmed pickup & delivery appointments) . It ended up costing a lot more. It was my own fault trying on such short notice but injury to my wife meant we could not drive both cars to FL. Agent kept trying to get us to change to a later pickup after I explained we had to be in FL for delivery by movers. Driver came late for pickup. While we were moving still in IL driver called to tell me he could not wait till contracted delivery date. He demanded we have someone at our new address to pay and sign or he would dump our car at some "protected location" somewhere in FL for us to go get. We managed to get Realtor to help us. Wha da ya gonna do? Once they got ya, they are used to demanding what they want or else.
