I can't begin to tell you the incredabily horrendus experience I had when I shipped this auto from Massachusetts to Arizona in January of 2005. The lack of professionalism and common decency was amazing after waiting a week with no communication from the driver or any assistance from the booking agent I cancelled the deal on the 8th day when he called to say he was on his way. This meant I was going to have to rent a car.I was lucky enough to find a driver from Nova Scotia who was on his way to Los Angeles who had an empty spot on his rig. Needless to say I approached this booking with a lot of concern. I talked to eleven agents before I found one who oozed sincerity(alejo). Since I was in no hurry this time I gave him a large window. He called back with an opportunity to ship that day which included a $75 discount. I accepted and the wheels were in motion. I received a call from the driver who was in Tucson and heading to the Phoenix area where I live. We realized we had a timing problem andfsaid he would get back to me soon. To my surprise his boss called to ask if he could pick up the car and transport it to the driver in Tucson. He came on time, told me the car would be delivered in 5 days. The next thing I got a call from the boss saying the driver was in Albany with a mechanical problem which may delay the delivery one day. Lo and behold my relative on the receiving end received a call from the driver saying that that he would make the original delivery date. My faith in the Knights of theRoad has been re-established. All it took was some communication and professionalism.A sincere thank you to Alejo and the transporter for a job well done.
