I contacted Auto Transporters online by phone on Friday, February 1, and they sent me the details of their company, including a contract by email and they were very courteous wth necessary information about the various costs and details with transporting our 2006 Mimi Cooper from San Diego, California to Fort Worth, Texas. They were a member of the Better Business Bureau, and this was important as well. The quote included three levels of cost, and we chose the silver level, which was the least expensive of the three levels of quotes, being $695. Their price was very reasonable compared to other companies. I submitted a contract to them on Saturday, February 2 including a $195 deposit on my credit card and was contacted on February 4 with information and conformation that the car would be picked up on February 6. The trucking company called on time and we arranged details such as time and pick up location. The driver was also very courteous. He carefully checked the outside condition of the car as well as the inside condition of the car, and noted that it was in excellent condition. He left with our car on Wednesday, February 6 in the afternoon as promised. I called the driver the following day and he answered his phone immediately as i was calling to inquire about the arrival time in Texas. He estimated the arrival time would be the following day, Friday Feb.8 between noon and 2 PM and would call our son when he was near the destination. The driver called our son as promised and arrived on time and was paid with a cashiers check with the balance of $500. The car was in the same excellent condition upon arrival as it was when it left our home. The whole experience was excellent and made the process very easy.
