I hired auto shipping group to move a car from Arizona to Connecticut, door to door. I was told my car would be in a single car enclosed trailer, double car at the most. This was the first time I had a car transported. I took the rep at his word. I got a call the day my car was supposed to be delivered first saying there was going to be a one day delay. Then I got a second call with need they would be able to make the delivery. Only problem was the driver told me he could not deliver to me house since his rig was 83 feet long. This is why I asked for a single or double car trailer. Now I had to find a ride to two towns away and drive and unregistered car home. When I told a manager what happened she told me they have a note in their contact stating alternate delivery locations may be necessary. But if they held true to the size trailer I requested there would not have been an issue. Nice way to resolve a problem. If you have no choice but to use this company, do not sign anything unless what you asked for is in writing. I learned the hard way.
