I searched for a reliable auto shipping company to transport our Honda CR-V from Arizona to Hawaii. After some Googling I came across Auto Shipping Group. I couldn't find any reviews on Yelp but read lots of favorable ones on this site. I got a quote from Greg, which was on par with other what other companies charge for the same service. He explained the breakdown in charges and detailed the dates of travel for the vehicle. Rather than ship the car on the next available departure day from the port, the car was kept in storage and left the following week, from Long Beach. I think this was just a timing issue and Greg wanted to play it safe to make sure everything went smoothly. It ended up taking 17 days, door to door. The car arrived safe and sound without a noticeable scratch. It was dusty, but that was expected. And, the gas tank was almost completely empty. We made sure the tank was 1/4 full before they came and picked it up. I have to wonder if this is normal. Greg was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. In fact, everything went so smoothly, I checked the BBB website to confirm ASG's positive rating. (I'd thought, "maybe this is a scam and we'll never see the car again!" No worries there...) Auto Shipping Group came through - highly recommended!
