It is not often that I find myself writing a rave review but my experience from beginning to end with auto shipping group and the trucking company was far beyond my expectations.
I have never shipped a car and after reading many of the reviews I was prepared for the worst and stressed about it. Moving is bad enough as it is and the thought that this was going to add yet more difficulty really had me on edge. We were moving from Massachusetts to Florida.
Enter Sam Anderson our account rep. She explained fully what was going to happen and how. She checked in almost every day throughout the process which at times requires great patience and flexibility. Sam really made extra efforts to ensure not only that the dates worked which wasn't easy because we needed the pick up within a very small window and the same for drop off-there was no wiggle room. She made sure I knew where things stood every step of the way.
The trucking company was also great. They were polite,. kept in touch with us and , like Sam, did not mind my calling with concerns as things moved forward.
I have named Sam the "Queen of handholding" because she was always available, clearly communicated and understood how important our cars are to us (you don't really realize it until you go through this).
Although I was VERY nervous, things went smoothly from beginning to end. I highly recommend the company and Sam.

Truth be told, I think "hand holding" is the best way to do things. Keeping everyone in the loop and keeping all informed all the way through the process helps keep the nervousness to a minimum.
