HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE When I started the endeavor I needed to get a vehicle from Mississippi to Indiana. When I started it was going to be a three day trip. It turned into a week from start to finish plus another almost $400.00. I had never done this before and this whole thing was a nightmare. They had us over a barrel when it came to money because they actually said no matter what trucking company we tried to use they all use the same data base to hire drivers. I didn't know any different and at one point the customer service guy was actually yelling at me over the phone. He told me I was screwing up his search because I was looking for another driver. I would get a phone call from him telling me he had a driver for the original charge of $700.00. I would tell him to book it then he would call and say the driver wouldn't do it for that he wanted $850.00. I told him to book it and the vehicle would be at our home on Friday. Not 4 minutes later he would text me to tell me he missed the driver so he had to go back to the search. This went on for 5 days!! Finally on the Thursday the following week he was able to hire a driver but the driver wanted $200.00 more. By this time I was so stressed and beyond myself about handling this situation. We ok'd the cost because again, I felt we were being held over a barrel and would never received our car if we continued like this. The driver picked up the car on Thursday and said he would deliver to us on Sunday. Come Sunday morning I had heard nothing, so I contacted the driver and he was in Alabama and was stuck there because of a tornado. I asked him if he had not paid attention to the weather and should have gotten out of there sooner. But it was what it was at that point, but he said he would be to our house by 9pm. Received a text at 6pm telling me that his GPS was telling me he would be to our house until 1:00AM on Monday morning. He asked if he could just hold until Monday morning around 9am to deliver. I told him that was fine, at 12:45AM I received a text from him that he would be at our house in 30 minutes. So once again felt like we were over a barrel and couldn't tell him we wouldn't accept it until later in the morning. So we got up and waited for him to arrive. At 1:20AM we would unloading a vehicle and getting it put in our shed. I was relieved that the vehicle was finally here but once again it was a HOORIBLE, HOORIBLE situation. I just wanted anyone who is looking to do something like this to use caution.
