I found Auto Freight Carriers to be a reputable company that fulfilled their promises. I would use them again.
The challenges I had were not with Auto Freight Carriers, but with the auto transport industry as a whole. It is very confusing. There are normally three players in any move, a broker, a towing company and a driver. You may contact or be contacted by all three. The industry would do well to explain the payment process and the deposit process better up front.
