If you really like staying on a nerve wrecking cruise amidst all the headaches involved in a move, then this company is your best option. YOU WILL END UP WITH ALL KINDS OF COMPLICATIONS AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. I chose (and am still kicking myself) to ship my Car from Charleston, SC to Niagara Falls, NY on Dec-1-2008 with Atlas. Patricia East is the nicest person in the whole wide world when taking down your order. Now...don't jump to any conclusions because she will "transform" to a completely different personality (read below).

I was assured that my car will be picked up in 1-4 business days. I kept waiting on and on...when you call, it strikes you at a later stage that they won't pickup the phone, unless it is a new business. Somehow you scramble through the auto attendant and a courteous guy Nick picks up the phone, calms you down assures you that their despatch team is doing their "very best" to ensure pickup. Nothng happened till Dec-9th...I somehow was able to reach Patricia in the meantime & she has no idea on who I was or what is happening to my order. She said that she "hands over" the order to dispatch and they take over. Nobody even bothered to all and say that they were not able to arrange a truck. Today, Dec-15-2008, I was officially out of the "10 business days" catch phrase they have in fine print to reimburese the credit card they charge. I am so happy that I am out of this mess. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOTHER TO WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU EITHER. Steve (a real person. email me with your phone# & I will gladly call you AT MY EXPENSE to vent out)
