An auto transport carrier is the physical assests owner-operator trucking company & the driver.  They are responsible for having their company MC# active, insurance up to date, truck maintenance & safety checks, picking up & delivering on schedule, loading & unloading the vehicle at the location, completing the inspection with pictures for the bill of lading. They do not have the time daily to sort thru the thousands of customer requests to find the handful of vehicles that are on the  route they are on & available to pickup.
