Do not use American Century Transport. I was quoted a low price as a means of drawing me in. They said they would ship the car from CT to CA for a total of $690. I was told by an aggressive receptionist that they were having a hard time finding a driver (6 days after the scheduled pick up day) and she said a driver would transport the car only if the fee increased. I was told I would have to pay an additional $100 dollars and ACT would pay $100 also for a total of $890. I told them I was not interested and wanted my $190 deposit back. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK. I was now stuck with paying the extra money. READ THE CONTRACT. IT BASICALLY SAYS THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY AT ANY TIME AND THEY WILL.
I recommend going with a company that gives you a FAIR quote with a strong track record of satisfied customers. Trust me on this.
