This was my first time shipping a vehicle. I was surprised at how much anxiety I felt over entrusting my precious, newly acquired vehicle to a shipping company. I wanted to retain control. Drive it myself, or haul it myself. Giving the vehicle up to an unknown company that I had found on-line was not easy. I expect I am not alone in feeling these stresses!
No worries were necessary however. Jonathan at American Car Transporters walked me through the process, and gave me a quote that was in the ballpark of what I expected. Pick up was on time. I have to qualify that by saying "on time" was (as we had agreed) on the DAY agreed. I would have preferred an exact time of day, but there are legitimate logistical reasons why this is difficult to guarantee. The driver clearly knew what he was doing in loading. Same at the delivery end, the driver kept me informed of his progress and ETA, so that I didn't waste time waiting on him. Unloading was not an issue. Note that on delivery, you will have to pay the driver cash or equivalent to complete the transaction.
Not a scratch on the vehicle. What more can you want?
