Awful experience, this company will abandon you when you need them most.

I don’t have a lot of experience with auto transport companies, having only shipped once in January 2024, trusting American Auto Shipping as the broker to get my Toyota from Oregon to Florida. The experience was awful. I can’t stress enough to anyone considering using this company to run away. I am trying to get Forbes to de-list them as their recommended car transport company in the “Best Value” category. It’s certainly possible that if nothing goes wrong with the transport of your vehicle that it would be a good value. But if anything does go wrong they are going to tell you things like (taken directly from texts and email): “We are just the brokers…” when telling me that I needed to drive more than 150 miles away from my contracted delivery address to retrieve my vehicle because the carrier refused to deliver it. Mark (who was alternately described as both the president and the vice-president) got snarky two emails into a conversation with me when I was trying to nail him down on filing charges against the carrier, and spat: “I guess you don't read my emails so this will be my last one to you if you cannot understand it.” Several others I dealt with at this company had the same terrible regard for the customer: I received a call from them from someone who eventually identified herself as “Shawna.” She was antagonistic and unhelpful from the beginning, trying to initially bully me or trick me into saying that I had agreed somewhere along the way (with either the driver or the owner/dispatcher of the carrier) to accept delivery someplace besides the contracted address and therefore my insistence that AAS and the carrier collectively fulfill their contractual agreements by delivering to the contracted address was somehow voided. When I finally spoke over her to explain I never did and had texts proving this she placed me on hold for approximately 50 minutes before the line was briefly picked up and then disconnected. She never called me back. They are a broker, they act like a marketing firm basically and are unwilling to extend themselves in the slightest bit to help make it right when the carrier they pass a contract to goes rogue. Use this company at your own risk, and pray nothing goes wrong if you do. Once they have your money, they absolutely don’t care. Nothing they did was helpful in finally getting my car returned and I did eventually have to drive 6 hours round trip to pick it up myself.

Wade is not being truthful at all. The carrier said that Wade was abusive and disrespectful to both the driver and the dispatcher. We had the same bad experience with Wade who feels the more he yells and screams at people who are trying to help him the better service he will receive. Wade cannot be more wrong. We have blocked his email and phone and we will no longer do business with him and we cannot recommend you do business with him either.
