All in all I was quite impressed with how AmeriFreight handled things. They gave me the lowest price quote by far to transport my non-operational truck across a few states. Once I accepted the quote, they quickly announced that there was a carrier booked to move the vehicle. The carrier's personnel were just as cordial and helpful as the AmeriFreight folks had been.

The only issue at all I ran into was this:
I had made a request during the quote process to be notified by the carrier a few hours prior to them picking up the vehicle, and for my agent at the other end of the line to be notified within a few hours of delivery. This was because the vehicle was not being picked up or dropped off in the cities where my agent and I live; in order to meet the driver, we would need some advance notice of when he was going to arrive. For some reason, this information never got passed along to the carrier. However, once the carrier was made aware of this they made it happen, so everything worked out.

Aside from that, the service I received was great. I would recommend the company and would use them again.
