Cannot say enough good things about this company. The web site and all documentation is concise and easy to understand, you just need to spend a few minutes to read and understand all of the information presented. Jonathan at AmeriFreight also presented the information when he called to discuss the contract / order. His assistant (sorry, but I have forgotten her name) was also very helpful and ensured that I received all of my documentation in a timely manner.
I was shipping my Corvette from Florida to California and elected to utilize an enclosed carrier as well as the Priority Preferred Shipment. I elected to go with the Priority Preferred Shipment, as I was working within time constrants on the pick-up in Florida. The cost quoted to ship coast to coast in an enclosed carrier was $1,520.00, which was less than other carriers that I had contacted.
The carrier selected to transport my car was Regal Auto Transport, Inc. The Corvette was picked-up on the date indicated by AmeriFreight. The driver was polite and kept me posted as to a concrete delivery date / time. When I met him to pick-up the car, he indicated to me that he had noticed a bit of anti-freeze on the ground when he picked-up the car (this was verified by my reprsentative at the pick-up site) and was concerned that the car was low on coolant. It was comforting to know that he was concerned about my car.
I am more than happy with AmeriFreight and would not hesitate to use them again.
