I paid for open trailer and the minimum quote, which did not guarantee delivery within 5 days. So on the 5 day AmeriFreight contacted me to offer to increase my quote to the next level which would guarantee delivery within 5 bus days for $100 more. I did this, and within the same day a trucker had taken the offer. He positioned my vehicle on the top rear of the trailer, although I did not pay for top-load. The only complaint I have is not with AmeriFreight, but with the driver himself, in that he gave me two different delivery times which he did not meet. Ultimately the vehicle was delivered clean, on time and exactly as expected, so I would definitely go this same route again for other vehicle shipping.
