I would definitely use AmeriFreight again. They were very helpful in explaining the various cost options and encouraged me to go with the lowest cost service. They even put in $50 of their own money after my car had not been picked up for about a week.

I will say that there was some confusion about where exactly my car would be picked up. Originally I was told that, depending on the carrier, it would most likely be picked up at my house. Once I was connected with the carrier – Golden Key Express, who was excellent – I was told that it’s against the law for carriers to enter the state I lived in. That was frustrating, as I was under the assumption that it depended on the carrier, not the state I lived in.

One thing AmeriFreight was great at was keeping in touch and updating me on the status of my car being picked up. After a week, when it became clear that the cheapest option was not moving very quickly, they called and told me they would put in $50 of their own money to encourage a carrier to come pick it up. The next day, my car was on a truck!
