We are sorry to hear that this customer had a poor experience. AmeriFreight never gives out customer information to other companies. Customers should know that when they call around obtaining quotes, these other companies may call them back for follow up. In this situation, AmeriFreight ended up paying the additional money the carrier requested. The customer was charged the original quoted rate. At the Economy rate, sometimes a carrier may request additional money. The cusotmer always has the option to pass on the carrier or take the offer. We do ask for deposit upon placing the order. Deposit is refundable upon cancellation.
