I purchased a vehicle in Dallas, TX and decided to have it shipped to my home in Florida. After running a search, I saw that AmeriFreight was one of the top-rated auto shippers according to a Forbes article. I looked up their BBB profile, and they were accredited with 20 years in business. It was very easy to get a quote, and the agent I worked with, Katie, was very professional. It took several days to get a truck to take the contract, Order 19618819, but that was partially a function of the adverse weather affecting the South in Jan 2025, and because I wasn’t able to arrange shipping until after the vehicle was purchased. The shipper that eventually fulfilled the contract was transparent and reachable, and surprisingly delivered the vehicle exactly on schedule (expected delivery to be at least two days later, given the conditions). They called me about an hour prior to delivery, and it went very smoothly. The vehicle arrived in excellent condition, the delivery was direct-to-driveway, and the driver was courteous and efficient. Payment couldn’t have been easier, with the deposit submitted online via credit card, and the final delivery payment by certified check. ?? This was my first time shipping a vehicle, and it was effortless. The only thing that didn’t meet expectations was the initial quote given online was too low for the market rate that shipping companies were willing to accept. One truck canceled the contract at pickup for an illegitimate reason. That was not AmeriFreight’s fault, and they quickly resubmitted the contract in under 18 hours. I would definitely turn to them for future car shipments.
