I had my car shipped cross country from Texas to Delaware. Overall the experience wasn’t terrible and my car arrived in perfect condition. The biggest hurdle I had was getting in contact with my agent/any agent for updates and information. My original agent (name shall be omitted for privacy purposes) was extremely hard to get ahold of. She did not respond quickly or frequently to email, text, or phone calls. I would wait several days before finally getting a response in which she would say things like “I’ve been super busy or I got caught up in a meeting or I respond quicker to texts than phone calls or emails (obviously not true)…etc”. What’s even more ironic is, she had apparently quit and nobody informed me so I was emailing and calling without receiving any answers. It was only a few days before my “supposed” move date when I finally found out about this. I was very stressed and frustrated since by this point I still had no idea what was going on, if my car would be picked up or if my car was even posted yet. However, I gave this review a 3/5 because the next agent, who took over after the first one quit, did her best to pick up the pieces. She was very responsive, considerate and efficient, thank you Yolanda! She made sure to check in frequently and that my car made it to me safely. This experience has taught me that having a good agent will truly define the process and make your life a 100 times easier.
