Shipping from VA to TN This was my first time shipping a vehicle so the process of finding a reliable broker was nerve-racking. After shopping around I decided on Amerifreight due to the number of positive reviews even though they were the hardest to get in contact with. Once our representative Yolanda contacted us, booking was fast and not very difficult to do. The 3 stars comes from the lack of communication after the vehicle was picked up. The day before the scheduled arrival date I contacted Yolanda for an update. Multiple calls and text messages were answered a few hours later but without a direct answer. She told me that she would call the carrier and give me an update but once again I had to call numerous times 6 hours later until she answered. It was then she three-way called with the carrier and I received an estimated time my vehicle would arrive. I was never abrasive or annoyingly checking in every hour for updates but I did expect timely updates when shipping a $70,000 vehicle. The carrier on the other hand was very communicative and my vehicle did arrive with no damage.
