I had not transported a vehicle before. I went into the process completely cold -starting with a Google search. My son was to deploy with the Marines for 8 months and I needed to get his truck home. A site offered to send bidders to me based on my shipping requirements. I went with AmeriFreight because it returned the most honest-sounding bid. The actual cost you pay depends on what the broker can negotiate with a carrier. Lecia at AmeriFreight got me a below-market quote from a carrier. When that carrier bailed on me at the last minute over a simple change for the pickup time, Lecia got busy and found me another carrier for the same price. The truck was delivered on time without a scratch.
Lecia is good at what she does. I recommend her and AmeriFreight.
