After using this review site I picked Amerifreight to transport my truck from Tx. to upstate NY. The salesman was helpful at least till I got my quote. I was never sure they had accepted my payment because he didn't answer my emails. Once I called he told me that it was ok. It took 6 days to arrange pick up of my truck, not bad. Allen Express was the actual trucking company. It arrived 4 days earlier than the estimate which would have been great except the driver called on a Sat. afternoon and I didn't have 1100.00 cash laying around and all the banks are closed. Told me if I didn't have the cash he was taking it back to NJ. Luckily between my wife's ATM and mine plus borrowing 500 from a friend we had enough. Once it got here the driver was nice. It was delivered right to my driveway. All in all a good experience but a little more contact would have been good.
