Got the Job Done, But Didn't Instill Much Confidence

Overall, I cannot complain about the completedness of the service provided by AmeriFreight. They were able to find a carrier for our vehicle (albeit a few days later than requested, but still within our time frame), and while they did end up charging us more than the quoted price, it was still a reasonable amount, and was within the range of quotes we received from other companies. However, it was only after much nagging - in the form of phone calls and emails, that we got our desired results from AmeriFreight. Several phone calls got me nowhere, and what was supposed to be a direct line for Jordan dumped me into the voicemail box of a person named Heather. Jordan was, overall, quite responsive via email, however. My best advice is to keep on your customer service rep, and to check everything they send to you. I noticed errors on my contracts, which were items I had previously spelled out very clearly. As I said, while AmeriFreight did indeed get our vehicle delivered in a moderately timely and affordable fashion, they certainly did not leave me feeling at ease during the planning process. This is my first time shipping a vehicle, so I cannot compare their customer service to that of other companies - this may very well be the industry standard for all that I know.
I would, however, like to note that I was offered an incentive for a $100 refund from AmeriFreight if I left the month's "best" review. When clicking on the link of previous $100 winners, they were, of course, all five-star reviews with glowing summaries. This does make me quite wary of the reviews I read prior to deciding to go with AmeriFreight - it seems to be a fairly blatant manipulation tool to manufacture higher reviews than customers may otherwise leave.
