While researching brokers to ship my car across country, I called Amerifreight because of their excellent industry ratings and web reviews. My first conversation with Amerifreight was very positive. Jorge was my contact and he spent a lot of time on the phone answering my questions and thoroughly explaining the process. This left me with a positive impression of the company as compared to the abrupt treatment I had received while calling other brokers/carriers.

Following my initial conversation though, I left several unanswered messages and finally had to call another person in the company to answer additional questions and place my order. Following that, Jorge's customer service, responsiveness and follow up was excellent.

Ultimately, Amerifreight not only delivered but exceeded all of their promises regarding pick-up and delivery times. The only deviation was the bid pricing. Early in the process, I was told an initial bid would be put out to carriers and if no carrier responded, Amerifreight, with my authorization, would increase the bid in $50 increments. I received a call from Amerifreight indicating that they had found a highly rated carrier but the carrier was requesting a $200 bid increase. I was initially surprised and disappointed at the bid differential. I was told I didn't have to accept the bid and that Amerifreight would continue to put the bid out to other carriers if that is what I wanted. I was then told that the carrier was one of the highest rated carriers Amerifreight worked with and that Amerifreight would split the cost of the bid increase with me. I appreciated Amerifreight's contribution, wanted to get my car as soon as possible and most importantly, I wanted a good carrier to transport my car - so I agreed. And I am so so glad that I did! My car arrived within 6 days from pick-up in excellent condition.

I must admit that I was very suspicious of car brokers after researching the industry on the internet and I was very nervous about shipping my car. After having had such a positive experience with Amerifreight and the carrier, I would highly recommend them to any discerning person looking to ship their car(s) safely.
