It took a while to find a carrier because I 1) started with the bargain basement price of $985, 2) my vehicle was inoperable, and 3) the pickup location was somewhat isolated. I ended up waiting for about two weeks and had to bump up the price to $1185 to tempt a carrier to pick up the vehicle. However, this is still a good deal (relative to other prices). The carrier was OK Transport. The driver was a great guy and we stayed in contact as he drove across the US. The drop-off was a little bit of a headache, but I was counting on that.
In the end, AmeriFreight did a fine job connecting me with a transporter. They met my expectations - they did what they said they would. Their hours are a little inconvenient for people on the West Coast. Other than that, I would recommend them to others and probably use them again.
