They definitely gave the lower quote for shipping my car.  However, the additional $95 for insurance caused the payment to be a little more than what I would have paid if I had chosen a different company.  Jorge suggested that I add the insurance because accidents are unfortunately common with the carriers.  My total cost came out to $990.  The carrier was LT Auto Moving Inc and they had communication and scheduling issues for me.  They were late on picking up my car and delivering my car.  I understand there may be delays due to weather and what not, however, I at least deserve a phone call letting me know about any delays in delivering my car.  My car was scheduled to be picked up on Friday, September 7th, any time between 9am-12pm, they arrive at 12:40pm.  I was told to receive my car in 7-10 days; I didn't receive my car until September 19th.  That is a total of 12 days.  I was suppose to receive a call 24-48 hours upon arrival- I never received a call, I had to call LT Auto Moving Inc on September 17th (the day my car should have came in) to check on my status.  I also called Jorge to figure out what had gone wrong, he was very supportive and tried his best to help me.  I don't blame Jorge for anything, I just suggested that his company reevaluate the partnership with the carrier.  My car is fine, I haven't seen anything wrong with it in the past 3 days.
