This was my first experience with sending a vehicle by auto carrier. At, first I went with a lesser known company that had excellent reviews. Although they were friendly and couteous, they just couldn't seem to get a pick-up scheduled. After waiting a week and a half for them to arrange for an enclosed carrier, I decided to try another company.
Oh what a difference. Bob from Amerifreight was also friendly and courteous. He returned my emails and answered all my questions promptly. More importantly, he was able to schedule a pick-up of my vehicle within two days. Furthermore, although the initial travel time estimate was 10 days from Georgia to California, the carrier that Amerifreight used had my vehicle in my hands in only four.
My classic car arrived clean and damage free. The driver who offloaded my vehicle was corteous, helpful and seemed like a rather nice guy.
I cannot praise Bob and Amerifreight highly enough. They did a great job and I recommend them to anyone needing to ship a classic car. They do it right!
