Took deposit and never picked-up

They were recommended by the moving company, so I did not do my homework-big mistake. Thecollected the deposit ($395.00) from my credit card ten days before pickup. On the day of the pickup I was given the name and phone number of a driver whom I was told was on his way. When he did not arrive after a few hours I called the office and was told he was on his way but might be stuck in traffic and cannot pick up the phone because he was driving. I called all day but the driver never answered the phone and the office kept saying I was to call the driver. He never came that day nor the following day nor ever. The office never gave me an alternate day for pivkup. I asked for my money to be refunded to me but they have refused, citing their fine print. I must admit they are good at shakedown.

We regret to hear of Frank's disappointment. Customer service is extremely important to us and we do everything possible to ensure that all of our customers are pleased. Unfortunately the driver assigned to pick up Mr. Frank Crooks' vehicle had a delay. Mr. Crooks was unwilling to wait for a new driver to pick up his vehicle and cancelled only 5 days days after his first available date. Mr. Crooks was informed of our policy before agreeing to it. We do however wish Mr. Crooks and his family the best of luck.
