Do not trust this company period. They're going to run a bait and switch on you and this is how Steve is going to do it. They will call you with a quote that is $200-300 lower than the next lowest quote, have you sign a contract with a "non-refundable $299 deposit", tell you a truck should pick it up in 2-3 days (they have no idea, they go through brokercentral.com like every other auto shipping broker), not contact you for a week and a half, and then when they do contact you they'll tell you that "the original driver" (for whom you've signed a contract for) no longer can do it, and they'll offer you something, in my case, $400 MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL AGREED UPON PRICE. This is what happened with me, and as you can see, every other negative review (take a look at their positive reviews too, nobody writes a positive review of a company as scripted and fake as those ones are).
I wanted to ship my car from FL to WA but was told that "nobody wants to go up there" and "you live in the middle of no where". The second I asked for my money back as they had decided to void our contract I was told "no refunds, good luck, have a nice day" and hung up on. The service is horrible, they do not answer your emails, and will string you along with "your car should be getting picked up in a day or two". Please learn from mine and others here who have experienced their horrible service and stay away from these scam artists. Don’t believe me, check out their 8 out of 8 one star reviews on Yelp (http://www.yelp.com/biz/all-star-direct-auto-shippers-los-angeles) and their poor standing with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/business-reviews/auto-transporters-and-drive-away-companies/all-star-direct-auto-shipping-in-santa-monica-ca-349408/customer-reviews).
They'll tell you no refunds but all you have to do is dispute the charge on your credit card. Once you get your money back they're going to hit you with a cancellation fee and you're going to have to dispute that as well (got mine back same day I disputed it). I've shipped a total of five cars now and they are the worst company I've ever worked with.

**Reposting to clear something up, I did not go with All Star Direct to ship my car as their reply to my original review claims, which is funny as they tried to hide my review originally by saying I wasn’t a customer of theirs.

We are all shocked with Sean's (S), complaint, as we confirmed with carrier that he took the driver we assigned and shipped his car through us back to WA.
