A week and a half ago I contacted Kevin Gauthier along with his boss Helen with a daunting, last minute task. My son was going back to school and wanted his car, yet the drive was too long for him alone and I was tied up so decided he would fly and we would ship his car. As with a teenager he procrastinated, booked a last minute flight then wanted his car delivered to him within five days from today. It was a Tuesday, he was flying Friday and wanted the car by Sunday. I sent out feelers to several auto transports and quickly got back from many, but NOT All Coast Transport, emails and calls stating that they had a truck and driver at the ready. This seemed a bit unbelievable as the car needed to go from Long Island, NY to Oxford, Mississippi. I got several offers telling me that if I can meet a driver in Jersey and have my son meet the car in Memphis, TN that that would work. My feeling was that getting out of NY is half the battle so if I had to drive to Jersey I may as well drive the entire way. Kevin Gaithier not once attempted to sway me as to pick up and drop off points. Kevin did not make any empty promises either, and he worked late into the evening as he stayed in contact with me. I did concede that If the car had to get there late, Monday or even Tuesday so be it, but that was because last weekend the whole Midwest and Northeast was getting hit with storms and safety of the driver, our car, and all people on the road, is more important. Kevin worked diligently all Tuesday and Wednesday, put up with my stressing out at times, and on Thursday evening let me know that they secured transport. By 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning, James, the driver was at my home. I unfortunately had to be at work but a friend met with him to hand over the keys. I spoke to James before and after he picked up the car and his friendly, and extremely respectful manner told me that Kevin has found the perfect driver. My friend called me afterwards and reiterated about how impressed he was by James.James called me a little later on Friday and told me the trip was going well and estimated that he should be meeting my son sometime Sunday. On Saturday late afternoon James again contacted me to say that he would have only 200 more miles the next morning. Besides he calling me to stay in contact he graciously told me to call him at any point with any concerns or questions we may have. On Sunday morning he called me to say he was about a half hour from my son and we confirmed the drop off, meeting point. James would have brought the car right to campus but we decided an open Walmart parking lot would make a much easier spot. My son arrived and for his car. James called me a few minutes later to confirm delivery, to thank us, while I myself couldn’t thank him enough. Again, his polite, professional manner was so nice. Perhaps I’m a jaded NY’er but Jame’s Midwest upbringing was a refreshing and appreciated interaction. Kevin, who has been monitoring the transport shortly thereafter reached out to me to ask if I had any concerns or problems and I was happily able to tell him that the whole process exceeded my expectations and that I will certainly use All Coast Auto Transport in the future and will highly recommend Kevin, Helen, and James.
