Great customer service but not a good experience

I did not take the lowest bidder. I took the second from lowest based on the professionalism of Todd the sales person. The agreed upon price was $900. That jumped to $1225 before everything was said and done. It took 16 days before the vehicle was picked up. As time ran out I badly needed the vehicle so I agreed to pay the additional $325.

The customer service / dispatch rep "Gabby" was nice and worked hard to get my truck delivered.

I learned a great deal about shipping a vehicle during this adventure. The truck arrived just fine and the drivers that I dealt with were good. The most frustrating thing was that I was quoted $900 to have this vehicle delivered to Key West... which I KNOW is not a prime destination. However, knowing the challenges that going past Miami to Key West presented, the sales staff should have been forthcoming with this information. At the end of the day, if you are shipping a vehicle from one obscure location to another be very careful about low priced deals. If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
