This order was placed in January for a vehicle pick up in May. In that time frame, diesel fuel raised to over $4.00 per gallon. The increase in carrier pay is not paid to our company; it is paid to the carrier. It is clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions that were signed by this customer we cannot guarantee carrier pay due to fuel increase of this nature. We are only able to quote what carriers are accepting at the time an order is placed. We are unable to predict fuel increase and are unable to predict what carriers will accept in the future. We wish we had that crystal ball.
