Terrible Customer Service

Although, there are a lot of positive comments regarding this company, my experience was entirely different. The only thing that went smoothly in the process was their promptness in charging my credit card. Kurt is the representative that placed my order, however after reading these reviews I wish I had asked for Mike. Kurt was very hands-off. He stated he would call to inform me about the carrier but did not. The carrier didn’t contact me until a few hours before my pick up time. On that day, I called AAT and was informed that Kurt would check on the order and call me back. Yet, I did not receive a call. I was assigned to a carrier in which the driver had a scheduled doctors appointment (as well as personal days off) after picking up my vehicle, which pushed the delivery time beyond a reasonable, quoted time frame. AAT did not follow up with them (or me) or even call to find out what was going on. I called the office about my concerns and unfortunately received terrible, rude customer service from James. I have used Dependable Auto Shippers in the past and had a good experience with them but wanted to give AAT a try because the price was lower. Never again will I use this company. Follow-up communication and more personalized and friendly service would have made this process better. Instead, this experience was much harder and stressful than it needed to be.

This customer requested pick up be either on 7/20 or 7/21 since they would not be available after these 2 dates. I did speak to the carrier and they said that Grace was ok with the truck picking up during this time frame and would be leaving out of Florida heading north to Virginia a few days later. She actually received her vehicle Sunday evening on 7/26 which is not a delayed shipping time. We do give customers an average ship time from Florida up to Virginia as being approximately 3 to 6 days. We let customers know that they can call us at anytime to get updates, and we are here to make the move for our customers as stress free as possible. We do not understand why this customer decided to give us a negative review but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion. Staff @ AAAT
